When life hits us so hard, we need something to hold on to to keep going. Sometimes, we are not sure where to go. There are times we are stuck in a situation that we ask, “Will tomorrow be different?” And sometimes, we just want meaning.
It was said there are three immaterial things we must remain in life: faith, hope and love.
Faith is confidence of what we aim for and assurance of what we do not see. On the other hand, hope (faith’s cousin) is not crossing our fingers; it is anticipation of what is sure to come.
Lastly, love. Oh, this feeling. Who has never done foolish things in the name of love?
But love is more than a feeling.
It is not what makes us foolish.
It is what will make us sacrifice, even the most painful thing, just because we love the other person.
